which of your birds seem to be the most winners? cocks or hens? or does it go both ways?

Out of the four races we've had so far, hens 3, cocks 1. It all depends how your racing them, as to which sex takes to the system the best.

 

Last year with old birds hens were the ones that always came for me, supose it was just the way I was racing them.

this year think its been 50/50 however only race 8hens i do like racing hens though cant beat a hen 10/14 days siting can & will beat the cocks if fit though i put mine on widowhood first of all to get em fit then pair up later in season however won on that too

same ere my cocks and hens have been flying well asa youngs mainly a a grizzle cock and blue hen wot have paired up noew on 5day old eggs so hopefully thy should fly well bk 2 the loft ths week

I have a young pair that I left on eggs to long. Both hatched and they have done a great job raising the two babies, even though they have been stressed with babies the two of them are always the first ones home from the training tosses.

i like ybs to be sitting or on young won 5ybs races 2cocks 2hens hens for the the further races one hen been to 3 200mile races this year winning 2of of em! all paired up had other scores with young not paired up

my hens beat all the widow men and  flew even better when sent sitting  10 days, i raced them celibate paired to me

now the distance increases time to pair the hens up as always have results this way as still have there fitness still fly an hour in morning & later go training & still trap on this system give the cocks run for there money!!!
