antwerptom03 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Report Posted May 24, 2006 07 will be my first year of OB racing. I'll likely fly natural for a few years. I'm interested in learning about widowhood particularly w/ hens Tom
Chris Little Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Tom Whenever we have any single hens they are encouraged to pair up together. We have had a lot of success with Lesbian hens Chris
antwerptom03 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Report Posted May 24, 2006 Geez Chris, I never thought of that! Why fight the urge... Use it to your advantage Tom
Chris Little Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Absolutely Tom One instance a couple of years ago we had 3 hens paired up and 6 eggs in a nest bowl , they would all try and squeeze onto the nest , this created immense competition between them and the motivation to race home was great. All 3 hens were winners in no time at all including a fed winner. Chris
