wing stamping

is it just me or do other members notice that when you get a stray bird in the wing stamp is either to faint to read or has being smudged so you cant read it

does it not say in the rules that birds for racing should be CLEARLY wing stamped

i think all members wing stamp them at the start of the season but not all check that they are clearly marked during the season is it because they dont want them back

I AGREE ALSO THERE ARE LOADS NOT EVEN STAMPED AT ALL  HOW DO THEY GET THROUGH MARKING UNCHECKED  IS IT BECAUSE NO-ONE CARES

i also agree i would like to see the up north make us all stamp or sometype of address ring on but up this way it just up to yourself

If it's any help to anyone; I use red waterproof ink and it never fades and lasts all season.

One year I got fed up with  having strays in with no wing stamp and reported it to the RPRA and they did nothing.........

I USE GREEN WATER PROOF INK AND TELEPHONE RINGS AND I AGREE 1 OUT IF 12 STRAYS THIS YEAR HAD A WING STAMP AND THAT IS OUT OF MY COMBINE MY COMBINE ( CORNISH COMBINE) IS VERY GOOD, IF THE BIRD DONT HAVE A WING STAMP IT GOES HOME OR YOU STAMP IT THERE AND THEN,GOOD OR WHAT

i always stamp and have adress rings i have had many in with no stamp.

Wing Stamp or no wing stamp its not impossible to get a bird home if you have a ring list out of BHWorld, but the National Rung, X, Z, and N now there is a challenge.

Wing stamping or address rings is no guarantee they will be reported in the past 3 seasons must have lost over 50 birds young and old and had NONE REPORTED. i AM SURE NOT ALL OF THEM WERE DUFFERSand are possibly sat in new homes
