andrew Posted January 6, 2006 Author Report Posted January 6, 2006 Janssen Pigeon front page of British Homing world This week Chantille Girl or somthing 1st RPRA one loft race 2005 Pure Janssen! They Win Again
DRIES Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 ONLY 2 TYPES OF PIGEONS REGARDLESS OF STRAIN [ONLY A NAME] GOOD ONES AND BAD ONES .95% OF WHAT YOU BRED WON'T WIN A CARROT
preston powerblast Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Why is it people let their pigeons carry the name from where they originated from. When to be quite honest if you bred them, then they are your strain. If you win with them then this is a testiment to your eye for pairing up two birds and your skill as a fancier flying them. But I suppose Jack duckworth doesnt have the same sales appeal as some of the better named european fanciers. But that is a fair comment, good uns and bad uns.
PIGEON_MAN Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 YOU REALLY THINK THAT THE PERCENTAGE OF BIRDS BRED THAT WON,T WIN ANYTHING IS THAT HIGH,BE INTERESTED HOW OTHERS FELT ON THAT ONE.
DRIES Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 COULD BE HIGHER SAY YOU BRED 60 YB'S HOW MANY OF THEM WILL YOU HAVE IN SAY 3 YEAR'S LUCKEY TO HAVE 8-10 AND HOW MANY OF THEM WOULD HAVE MORE THAN 8 CLUB WINS TO THERE NAME , THAT'S ONLY 2 WINS A SEASON, 1OR 2 IF YOUR VERY LUCKY DO YOU AGREE. MULTIABLE WINNERS HARD TO COME BY . 1 OFF PERFORMANCE NOT WORTH ANYTHING AT CLUB LEVEL , PIGEONS HAVE TO WIN EVERY YEAR OR THERE GONE
