What is your best breed of pigeon in your loft?

My Lefebre Dhanens but these birds have been good line and crossed with frank taskers and marcellis pigeons and produced very good birds.Its horses for courses my van loon pigeons also good bird upto 300 miles.I dont think i can actually say what is the best strain of bird in my loft.if i didnt have complete faith in the birds and didnt think they were some of the best they wouldnt be housed here,id want to get rid of them!But if you are to say pigeons that i know i can always rely on it is the lefebre dhaenens line bred or crossed.I no my line of laffy daffys one side can come in the quick and wind behind them days and my other side i can rely on coming out on the slowest and hardest of days with a head on wind!"

upto now its always been my janssens but i have had other breeds and not given them chance,give them away and they have gone on to breed outstanding birds,i have the gaby pigeons now aswell as my janssens so ime looking forward in trying these out.

its always my brasspennings (janssens) won many positions,but got other families.still testing them...

Well Linda I didn't do it intentionally but what the heck if I gotta copy someone then who better than you, the wizard with ybs.  You are secretely my idol.. LOL  Woops guess its no secret anymore..  In all honesty I bought the Van Reets to help with the speed, as I give up over 40 miles overfly to the concourse and also I am off line over 20 miles.  I have to have lots of speed to beat the big guys, and gal you know who those are over here... LOL.. Ed

Best "breed" of pigeons are racing homers.    If you mean strain(don't really believe in such a thing) or family then I really like the Van Loons down from Super 73.

i agree with Mr Farr its strains my good old english distance stuff of Messrs Benstead ,Coulter,Wills and Pat King is good reliable and hard.

stafvanreets good strain of pigeons for fast days under 300 mile look forward 2 trying the soojens as they say they good all rounders any 1 racing soojens what do you think of them   :)
