Fuller Issacsons

Hi everyone,

 

A guy in our club asked me if I knew of anyone who still keeps the 'Fuller Issacson' strain of pigeons (I am not sure if spelling is correct or not as he didn't seem to know how to spell the strain name). I told him I didn't know of anyone but would put a post on the forum and see if anyone online knew of anyone who still keeps this strain.

I have heard the name before gangster but to be honest I don't really know a lot about them really other than they are an old distance strain. They where on the go a bit before my time, I think.

im sure earlier in the year mr ishmael was selling his house and lofts lovely set up as well im lead to believe he flew a super pigeon on his day as well...

Just like the Marriots and W H Steele families etc; they have been overtaken by foreign imports.

If you want to find old English (or even old Belgian families) you need to spot the small ads from long time fanciers in the RP and BHW.

If you wanted Fabry,s or Huyskens van Riel you could always try in Germany where they are still popular.

he still going gangster mate he just scaled down do to age etc ,he still flys a good un though.

Bill Ishmael scaled down as he moved house, now lives in Parbold not Orrell, also scaled down due to his age.
