Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 30 for myself and a few for members of this forum and friends
Guest Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 ;D Looking to breed , just short of 30 ybs . Hoping to hang on to them in 07 ?/?/! : andy
Mike Lycett Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Maximum of 20. Do'nt need any more if you know your birds
Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 "Maximum of 20'' would the same apply if you were a novice breeding from untested birds?
Mike Lycett Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Oh ESPECIALLY SO The last thing you want is to breed a shed full of birds from potential crap. You need to extract the MAXIMUM out of each pigeon you have - therefore each pigeon needs your all - hence keep less - not more
Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I see your point the less birds you have the more attention you can give each.
Guest jason Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I'll be breeding 20 for myself and I'll be giving them all the attention I can. jason
Mike Lycett Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Takes a brave, secure man to breed so few

Guest Paulo Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 68 I bet the skies were dark around crewe you should have flogged a few to coxy lol I was going to have a team of 40 but my dad laughed in my face and said you'll loose half of them breed 30. RoryTheRed Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Your going in for small team Rory I will learn more by having less around me.
ACE LOFTS Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 You'll be breeding 50, why do you cull a few?? because when i jab for paratyphus theres always a few that go back wards, and also there are couple that i dont like the look of so they go.
