drewskitou Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 Well, looks like I'm starting a loft in july. I'ts to late to race, but my plan is to train some late ybs so i have old birds next year. I am new to pigeons(never owned a bird..lol) I will have a loft about 10x12(starter loft for awile). Is it ok to mix ybs and old birds? I plan on seperating the sexes. Is this a good idea? (thinking down the road) What would you do? I welcome all advice.
jimmy white Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 i should agree with what you say, but would advise to go cautiously and patiently ,and concentrate on a good yb team for next year ,,but the best of luck to you, and wish you success
drewskitou Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 thanks, how does my plan sound? can I have a winning team with so few birds?
peterpau Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Every race only has one winner so thats all you nedd to win then. Maybe? A few well looked after birds will do better than many not looked after propperly.
