I have a couple of questions that I would like to ask of someone that has tried the system - My main concern is ensuring that the birds are through the moult prior to young bird racing. I have just watched an American video on the subject but their season is slighltly different to ours......... D. D.
Chatrace Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 Start Dec 1st and band the 1st of Jan . Birds need 20 hras of light till end of june and you should have a full wing and body. by Aug. without pulling any flights
MJ LOFTS Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 my birds have lots of light light goes on in the loft when i get up and of again when i got to bed my birds were in good nick through the season no probs for me.
