pairing

hi what do you lot think is better when pairing up,im going to pick a few pair out of my choice and pair them to eachother and the rest will be left to pick there own  mate would be interested to know how many fanciers let there birds pair to what the birds want and not what they've picked for them

I have just voted for selective as for showing the right comformation/colour is important,if you are racing it doesn't really matter,would still be keen to pair best to best though personally

i prefer to select pairings has i only breed from my stock birds ,use my race team as feeders.

yes your right about best to best i think thats the pairs i do put together myself the rest im just hopeing for a fluke match that breed winners

I select the pairs myself but i´ve heard about many fanciers who let the birds pick themselfs and have had great success with it.

i beleive in both   :) but love matches bond better together for racing , and if your team is good enough why bother what pairs up , barring very closely related ones ,,,,,,the norm is winner to winner ,so it would be nice to have a loft of winners ;D
