what has been or is your best pigeon and why?

an 03 pigeon called 79 its a van der wegen , it has carded from 55mls right up to 512mls and is always in the 1st 3 back racing and training

Ella louise is my best hen racing for me 3 races, 3 wins against widowhood cocks !! from 76 mls upto 171 miles in consecutive weeks.

 

a good cock I have is beer 55, 23 x1st prizes and over 40 deplomas altogether. but he was raced by someone else.

 

I do have gabriel 11 x 1st prizes and sire of many winners.

 

besides prins benjamin sire of winners in every nest.. plus donkere witpen, sire of 8 federation winners !!

 

i could go on but it would sound like i blowing my own trumpet slightly and this makes me uncomfortable. sorry.

my best was numer 50 4x1st prizes and 1st fed and 10th fed only as a young bird as he was killed by a cat at the end of the racing season  :'( :'( :'(

my best bird is a 2 year old blue cock timmed from reims 560 miles north west wind all the way 2nd section 11th open snrpc.Then it would be another from same race taking 9th section 42nd open also 2 years old.

best bird i had were 2 hens and one cock, all three of them won one loft races.

oh i have one cock who won the 600-650-500 mile race this year, in every race he was top ten.

last year he won one or two long distence races as well.

meally cock su 63 ....28228 scored 9 times over 500 miles  [scoring at 9 years old also winning club race from 84 miles at 9 years old ] it had a prize ticket from every race ,,, the year b4 my father died [it hadnt been 500 miles] it won the chtistchurch race approx 360 miles ,, all that winter my father harped on and on about this bird to get it over the water [channel] unfortunately my father died in the march , i hadnt joined the national ,, but got the bird away with the east of scot continental clubto avaracches  [approx 3,000 birds ] he was 4th open winning £98.... 2 shillings and 9 pence  :)old money,,,,,how i wish my father could have seen that

had to say but one that comes to mind was a dordin cock that went to almost every race year after year and was on the day from sartilly 582 miles 4th only 7 on the day williedo won that one. the cock was 7 years old .he was clocked on the day as a 10 year 4th again 582 miles .was clocked from rennes 624 miles at 11 years
