Have just bought 4 white comines from Natural Breeding Station for my Grandaughter. Nice looking squeakers but they will have to go on the road. Has anyone on here had expierence of these? What sort of distance have you had them from? They say sprint to middle but as I am more into distance pigeons (Southwells etc.) I am at abit of a loss. I like tough pigeons and would hate to lose the Grandaughters "pets" by pushing too hard. Any advice extremly welcome.

from what i have heard they need treating with care as youngbirds, just give em a couple of races and then push them on as yearlings and 2yr olds.

Mate like you I race from the distance, but I too have bought some whites. These will have an easy first year but when they reach two they have to go down the road and then some more. By then there will be more whites and when I lose some, there will be more young 'uns coming through.
