ozbrit Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 My first channel race is coming up in a fortnights time my widowhood cocks have raced every race so far up to eastbourne (186miles) would it be advisable to rest them this week before they go over the water which is Clermont 300miles
peterpau Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Not for me. Then mine only done three inland races before going to Falaise 244 miles but an 8 hour fly. Got 3 from 3 others in club got 0 from 5. 1 from 7 and 8 from 35
j.childs Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 up until 4yrs ago we used to miss the weekend before the channel races..but now we send to the weekend before with hardly any problems,but we do feed quite heavy (ie as much as they want).....
