My first channel race is coming up in a fortnights time my widowhood cocks have raced every race so far up to eastbourne (186miles) would it be advisable to rest them this week before they go over the water which is Clermont 300miles

up until 4yrs ago we used to miss the weekend before the channel races..but now we send to the weekend before with hardly any problems,but we do feed quite heavy (ie as much as they want).....
