Ronnie Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 Ive a big race coming up in two weeks and my cocks have gone of the boil .Now there is a big race coming up in two weeks and ive read somewhere that repairing the cocks will get you an extra race .Can anyone tell me if its true and if so when to repair them.
schouwman71 Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 a little dodgy if you ask me,sometimes it works with 1 good result, sometimes it can also bring a bad result.why not pair a few up and leave a few to tease ,after all there only a few weeks left.a friends cocks have gone off the boil 2 weeks ago and so he paired them,he got 1 result with a 4 yr old cock last week but failed to time in today from 335mls.
just ask me Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 yes but this will end ure season i reckon might get the result u are lookin for but after this race if u do it i reckon ure finished might be a idea maybe midweek give them a handy toss back to the hens if u leave more info with what ure doing ill try to help
Ronnie Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 Thanks alot guy's.I think the race i'm looking at will be my last anyway for my cocks as i only have 8 left and 7 are yearlings. Its my first proper year so would be nice to end them with a good result.Ive still got four hens i am hoping to race in a few opens and maybe the national from alencon. But if i can end my season with 8 experienced cocks for next year i will be more than happy ive only been out the top ten in the club once and even got a winner as well as second fed so ive a good base to build on.
