can i just explain to those who don't know , i packed in pigeons 6 year back , due to divorce etc, this year stuart (cloudview) bred 16 y.b's for me and mi julie to race, and our other workmate 6 y.b's, after 4 races , today is my worst result being 7 minutes behind, i still have 16 to race  (17 when darkys ransom comes through ) my 1st, 2nd , and 3 out of the 4 that came 3rd were cloudviews , our fed sent 4000 plus today

kev, stuart was going to give me the details of the youngsters , they were all crosses from his race team , i asked him not to give me any more details till after racing as i wanted to judge the pigeons on their racing ability rather than their pedigree. i know a few are patrick brothers crossed,  i only live 400 yards from him , having been to his loft, and having worked with him, plus knowing his national results , my initial thoughts were , if they are good enough for him , then they are good enough for me, and i have not been dissapointed , our club sends 300 birds, and till this week i have not been over 4 minutes behind the sprinters and young bird specialists with these distance birds ,  stuart himself flys in another club and took 3rd fed at the 1st y.b race
