mark proctor Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 hi guys,,,just sat thinking to my self wondering about the rounderbout systam which ive flown for about 11 years on and of,,, :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ well widowhood,,fri night night some of us show our hens to the cocks then basket the cocks leaveing the hen in there box,,,yeh, so the cock goes of to the club knowing is hen is there waiting for im ,,,rounderbout we let our hens threw on a fri night to the cocks which in my case there locked in there boxes waiting in there bowls,,,a couple of mins later we or i basket the cocks which think there hens are there going to be there sat when come home from the race...then we ,,well i,,basket the hens ,,,but what will the hens be thinking cos there being taken out of a empty box..unlike the cocks the hens are there when taken out....your thoughts please lads..if it makes any sence...all the best ,,,mark.. :)
Guest Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 i done that last year mark and if anything it made the hens keener won well with them as against the cocks

mark proctor Posted March 24, 2009 Author Report Posted March 24, 2009 never thought of it like that !! but if its not broken iam not going to fix it to right m8..... ;)
bigdees Posted March 24, 2009 Report Posted March 24, 2009 i agree with what frank says if its not broke then let it be ive been flying them on roundabout a few years now and if you get your hens right they will beat the cocks out of sight
wilkins Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 i dont think roundabout suits the cocks as much as the hens nany people say the hens out perform the cocks which may be because it suits them more i would always leave a pigeon in forms partner at home while its flying well as after 3 times arriving home to a empty box it must get fed up
