allenyeates Posted August 4, 2009 Report Posted August 4, 2009 Ofcourse you can get red or mealy Busschaerts. They are a strain that he built up , but no pigeons are 100% true they are a family he made by various introductions, as are ALL pigeons. Look at John Crowder adds, Does anyone know about true Busschaerts as much as this man!!!!!! Anybody can call any birds their strain if they are doing well, and long may it live. This sort of thing makes our hobby, sport what it is. Pigeons be pigeons, the good may continue and the devil take the rest. That is why the Greyhound suffers lesss deformaties than the show type dogs, just my personal oppinion but only the fittest should survive........ Shoot me if you wish!
