wee red hens Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 hi could anybody explain the basics of this system to us as we have a small team for next year and want to race them all out if possible cheers
Guest bakes Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 its a long story but to cut it short best to have two sections perch's in one nest boxs other hens in one section cocks other you let the hens out move the cocks across the hens will trap back to were the cocks was let the cocks out move hens back across basically one out one in so you going round in a circle hence the name roundabout the only time hens see cocks are day of basketing and when they come back from race all the best k baker
Guest Owen Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 I can help you with a really good widowhood system, if you ever want it. I am no use at natural and I have never tried flying adult hens.
marmite Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 had 1 of my best seasons flyin roundabout won all 5 chanel races run it just as bakes explained hens out 1st trap bk to cock sec and fed in cocks sec cocks out hens bk in there section simple system biggest prob gettin feed right as i think its the most important factor is the feeding i fed an ounce for each bird in morn then eve i gave each bird once and half best of luck m8
