Guest Dublin lofts Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 YOU still just dont get the POINT.
dwh Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 i myself couldnt give a dam how many people send i know i can train and prepare six pigeons a week to go to race better than some one sending 40 . but if i had the time i would send 40 lol as its not about winning its about enjoyment as when i was in partnership with my mate i wanted to cut down the numbers but his enjoyment on sat was to watch every bird come home and not just winning our saturday was spent all day chatting outside watching the birds come home and some weeks we would have four races on two inland and two channel and we was able to do this because we had a big team . i dont understand some view why people worry what others send prohaps if they worried about there own team they might win !!! food for thought best answer yet prepare your team 4get bout rest
Guest gladdo Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 your rigt dhw .. forget the rest ... i aint bothered what im racing against as its up to me ( the loft manager ) to have my birds back before the opposition and beat them ... cant wait for 2010 racing ...should be very interesting id say ... our club getting tougher .. something like 41 members now this year .... mikey ... 3 new members... i wish them all the best ... mikey

jack Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 just wondering how many old/young birds will most fanciers have this year the isrf plans are to bring in a 40/50 bird limit wot are your thoughts on this subject, if your a member of our fed do you think it will affect you and your performance! we'll have 16 cocks and 20 hens for the old birds and may breed 50/60 young birds best of luck to all members on here for the coming season and 2010 only a club can bring in this rule as the fed has to take your birds even if you come to the club with 100 birds it is a fed rule that will never change
DUBLINFLYER Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 only a club can bring in this rule as the fed has to take your birds even if you come to the club with 100 birds it is a fed rule that will never change jack not sure as it looks like they want to amend the rule, we'll just have to wait, meself i think 50 is plenty
Guest gladdo Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 ger i second that with 50 being plenty .... why people have to send over 50 birds to win a race is madness ... mikey
DUBLINFLYER Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 ger i second that with 50 being plenty .... why people have to send over 50 birds to win a race is madness ... mikey its not just bout winning its about winning averages.... these bhoys are in the major league, racing for the fed averages not for the club averages, wot will be will be

DUBLINFLYER Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 JUSTcurious how many 50+ flyers to less than 50 flyers have won fd averages the best man in the fed is gerry o'mara, i understand he keeps in and around 30-40 old birds and i believe starts with 70 young birds, this rule if brought in will not effect him, hope this answers your question

DUBLINFLYER Posted January 7, 2010 Author Report Posted January 7, 2010 the best man in the fed is gerry o'mara. I would say ONE of the best . he's the champion, so he is the best until someone takes the title from him, if you want to go down your road you can, dicky it up wot way ye like, as far as im concerned he is the man to beat, he is the best in the south road fed, and some people dont like that fact, but they are the FACTS :X
dwh Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 the best man in the fed is gerry o'mara, i understand he keeps in and around 30-40 old birds and i believe starts with 70 young birds, this rule if brought in will not effect him, hope this answers your question so why the outcry about numbers if the best man in fed flying less than 50 its telling you quality not quanity
