darkness times fo ybs

hi, does it matter what time you have your ybs on the darkness for. eg could you take them off it at midday and put them back on it at 8 or 9?

as long as they get 8 hours of day light you can suit yourself when you put them on or take them off

i get the mrs to open up 8 hours before dark and let it go dark naturally,  only to get my time in with them after work,  not in work at the mo but will still keep the times like that, coz i like the natural dark

Done mine from 7-30 to 17-15, as the good wife done them while i was working. But i have heard they need to see the sun to rise anybody else heard that?
