Blackpool !!!!!!!!!! Sounds as if ????????? to me, if theres a dollar to be made, they will sell it there :P . Now !!!!!! just go to your local supermarket & buy iodized salt, thats all you have to do "Nothing fancy". Also !!!!!!!! go to your local hardware store etc, & buy a bag  of pool salt 25kg's, it's cheap & put a cup full in there bath at times, it all helps. But never give this salt to your birds to eat, or you could be in trouble.

going back a bit we used to go to the farmers cow fields and take the lump of brown rock salt they hung on the fence for the cattle to lick, used to put it in the loft for the birds to pick at, also while in the marines doing long exercises we used to get salt tablets, of course hum ans lose salt from their body when sweating.

this is rock salt or" coos lick" known in Scot ;D for obvious reasons , pigeons love salt , but there is enough salt in many preparations for pigeons ,,iodized black minerals [we used to call black salt ] has salt in it [also bleach believe it or not

some grits contain salt ,,,,,too much salt can be harmfull ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the best salts ,,are summersalts ;D  when you win a race ;D

Talking of salts does enyone use andrews liver salts ?

Don't worry about Jimm to much ???????  ;D ;D ;D Many of us here I feel   ;) would be knackered completely  :'( :'( :'( if we had to do that little exercise etc.
