paddymac Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT INFECTION IT IS different treatments for different diseases. I think the answer to this is in the title of the thread.
GREENLANDS_ Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Doxy-T - A blend of Doxycycline and Tylan. Recommended by veterinarians worldwide as the medication of choice to treat and manage the respiratory infection complex during racing. Respiratory infection a 5 - 15-day course of Doxy-T is given. If respiratory infection purely due to Chlamydia has been a problem, Doxy-T can be replaced by doxycycline 12%. The course of Doxy-T or doxycycline 12% should be completed 2 - 3 weeks before the first race and should be followed by a 2 -3 -day course of Probac. It is best, though not essential, This is the views of Dr Colin Walker Australian pigeon company.
