Guest Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Smell grain brought up for alcohol smell - if there is none then not being held & grain is not fermenting in the crop. Check that the youngsters are being fed - and their droppings are OK If this checks out OK they might just be ridding themselves of rubbish they've picked up in the garden, and of course anything else in the crop will come up with it. If you do get a smell from grain, probable yeast problem, cider apple vinegar will help cure it.
stevebelbin Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Have they had any peanuts as these sometime make them spew up if they swell up in there crop?? Or have they been pecking about in the garden as they sometimes pick stones up and spew them back out??
