a fancier nxt to me ask me if its 2 late 2 start usin buttermilk i couldnt answer him truthfully as i didnt know i have been usin it since they stopped racin and my birds nearly thru moult except odd 1 wi end flight 2 go can any 1 advise me so i can let him know ,,regards kev43  ;)

Hi lads never used buttermilk before do you think it makes a difference to the moult?

 

never used it before mate just gave mine regular baths and extra linseed in there mix they molted through well

a use it wen ther goin threw the moult then once a week threw the winter

in my opinion,,,, maybe a little late now, but would still do them no harm :),, buttermilk, rest, moulting seeds [linseed] and baths will induce the moult, with these darkness yb,s,,,and insure a good moult :)
