a fancier nxt to me ask me if its 2 late 2 start usin buttermilk i couldnt answer him truthfully as i didnt know i have been usin it since they stopped racin and my birds nearly thru moult except odd 1 wi end flight 2 go can any 1 advise me so i can let him know ,,regards kev43

I would have said it as too late, just my opinion.

 

Used it at end of racing season to kick start the darkness youngsters moult

never used it before mate just gave mine regular baths and extra linseed in there mix they molted through well

best thing to do leave them in

mine have had nothing since racing apart from corn and water and some are through or 1 to drop

in my opinion,,,, maybe a little late now, but would still do them no harm ,, buttermilk, rest, moulting seeds [linseed] and baths will induce the moult, with these darkness yb,s,,,and insure a good moult
