Wiley Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 Does anyone treat there pigeons for anything while they are sitting eggs if so what and when?
Guest anthony Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 I find it is the best time to treat against canker,if they have it
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 NO , USUALLY HAVE THEM TREATED BEFORE THEY GO DOWN
Jeremy Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 use a microscope if there is nothing wrong why treat?
Jeremy Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 Wiley Make time to use it properly get some good books etc. Testing for canker cocci worms is quite easy when you know how. Most fanciers buy 1 use it about twice and cant get on with it but it just takes time and practise. Use it every week and you will soon learn.

stevebelbin Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Once the eggs are laid I give them 2days on multivits then treat them for canker with turbosole and then a few more days on multivits.
BIGK Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 ive often tried to fit a treatment in at this time but as other things are being fed and administered by the water ive got everything out if the way before pairing this year, i will however have a full MOT carried out on the birds following the breeding period to make sure i treat for anything accordingly and not just in case prior to the training and racing.
