this is usually a respiratory ailment ,there is a product by Rohnfried called ' Schnupfenol ' this  can be  brushed into the nostrils with the end of a feather there are other products such as ornicure that are effective and easier to get hold of ....ray

Personally I would use DoxyT, only have to treat for 2 days.

Bit late on this one. Would just like to say that greasy wattle may be nothing more than a young bird either copping a fly feed from another, or when pairing up, from the 'feeding' part of the courtship ritual..
