I am just starting off with pigeons, I was told to keep the dropping away from the

pigeons, I made a screan floor ,I choose the mesh that was a half inch by half inch,I

did not want to hurt the pigeons feet. My father had pigeons back in 1966 and raised

them for years. He told me to make a flypen that you can easily clean. I took a drain

pipe and sliced it open from end to end and connected two elbows up and water proof

the entire cleaning area. The waste will new end up going down the drain pipe.

 

I want to keep the fly pen clean and I power wash it daily with a pressure washer,It only take 2 minutes to remove everything, it all goes down the drain.I just wanted

a cage that would not take up all my time cleaning.Here is a picture of the fly pen.
