Probably the best information on Hofkens will come from Ad Scherlaeckens. He will tell you that even Hofkens did not have Hofkens birds. They were all crosses.

Taffy Bowen the fantastic Welsh Flyer had a lot of Hofkens direct. He once told me that they were all crosses and although he had had brilliant birds from there, they were definatly not all from the same genetic origins. This was from a Guy with a record system that was second to none. Taffy could back up any thing he said about birds' breeding and their performances.
