Hi all

I have a problem.

Its about a week before my youngsters should be weened from the breeding section and yesterday i noticed that not all is well.

Some of the youngsters are limping and 2 are sitting puffed up.

All the youngsters are on the ground and they are being fed by whichever cock gets to them first.

I suspect salmonella (Parathyphoid), as two of the cocks even limps.

Is it safe to give Medpets 4 in 1 in the drinker?

Thanks

hi skull.. as far as im aware your in south africa,, i say this to let  our fellow members know that your breeding time will be different than the uk,

i note you suspect  salmonella/paratyphoid, it sounds possible, but only a good avian vet will diagnose  this,, well worth getting them tested,,, im wondering if you had a full hatch?? or any "dead in the shell" as this" dead in the shell" can be attributed to paratyphoid/salmonella ,, i say "can be" but the best advice i could give you is get them tested asap,,,, good luck
