Guest waynemorris Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I had some back in 2000. I was gifted them by a fancier in west wales and they are the best birds I have had overall since i started back up. Dont know anything about them really or who flys them. But i now only have one hen left in my loft with those lines in and after dabbling with this breed and that breed I am looking at having these again maybe

Guest waynemorris Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 No I cant lol. My sister was on holidays in Tenby with her husband and they started talking to this couple and found out he raced pigeons. My sister is not interested in the birds at she has a bird phobia but he ended up breeding 6 for my dad, I know that he does not race any more or have any birds
maxwell Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 I had some in the late 70,s Jos & La Marvellous lines this pair were Janssen x Stichlebout lines the one cock was outstanding won to 3 different lofts bred winners from 50 to 450 miles. it was this family that made my mind up to buy my Janssen and Stichlebout birds. The mother of the Pest also had Fauconnier lines to Blaue Barcelona line i had good success with these as well. Jones Bros tredegar flew well with them also and in my opinion some of the best birds Spence & Nichols flew were the Fauconiers. Cant fault them great cross with the Janssen birds.
Robert Hyde Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 Wayne. John Darkey Diamond of Port Talbot has got a good family of Fauconniers. He flys well with them and has bred a lot of winners for other fanciers.

Guest waynemorris Posted October 8, 2009 Report Posted October 8, 2009 How is he doing. I never met him. When you see him tell him we had a lot of fun with those pigeons and they were very good. Talking to my dad today and we really wish we could have them again. Not many people would give away pigeons like to someone they never even met or talked lol.
