Delboy Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 The other cause of feathers curling is PMV but in this instance it definately sounds as if you have good form in your loft.
tommiddo Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 they are coming well in the 4 races they have had i have had a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and one race i was a little behind all in different races. they are not darkened but i am happy with them
Guest pigeon82 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 as long as your happy thats all that counts tom just got a freind here he said that hes never heard of feathers curling before but i hope it is for the fitness and condition because i know your birds are well looked after they couldnt be anything but in prime condition tom ill ask me dad when he gets in the house and find out he has that book that tells you everything from the feather curling its some vetinary book he has

Guest pigeon82 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 hey tom just spoke to my dad said definately not pmv like sum people keep saying you would see other signs if that was the case he said is it when your looking at the wing when the bird is in the shed or even if your holding the wing out and they are curling away from the wing or into the wing its a sign of good helth condition and fitness mate nothing to worry about pal
