adam owen Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 i thought that hemp was to warm the birds up get them going so why have hemp in a break down this isnt a dig just a question ;)
Guest mick bowler Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Too much conditioning seed for a day to day feed for my liking, and too much barley and wheat and wheres the pea's and beans?
Guest strapper Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 i think personally this would not be used as my own preference as a racing mix,its ok for short sprint but i would have a heavier mix towards distance racing. to me its more of a conditioning mix.
adam owen Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 peas and beans in a BREAKDOWN MIX aint thease 2 grains protein high ones at that
Tony C Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I'd like to see more maize in mine, no red milo & a tad less flaxseed.

Guest IB Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Remember Skull races in South Africa, don't think we have experienced racing conditions over there, so unlikely to be able to offer informed advice.
