Flyin Couriers Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 Hi i would like to introduce ourselves to this site. We have started a new delivery/collection company and our aim is to offer all our customers a 100% service. We have dedicated drivers all over the U.K. and we are hoping to have a delivery/collection van in Scotland atleast 3 days a week. We pride ourselves to deliver within 24 hours but where this is not possibe then maximum of 48 hours. We have our very own pigeon fancier onboard who be responsible for feeding and watering customers birds while they are in our care. Our fancier is a guy called Mark Parry (Connahs Quay North Wales) and he has over 30 years experience in racing pigeons himself. Mark will be also working alongside all of our drivers teaching them how to look after birds in there possesion whilst in transit to there destination. Please if you have any questions or queries please phone the number below or you can e-mail us with your questions. Our prices are as follows: £25.00 for 1 - 4 birds going to the same destination. £2.50 for any additional birds going to the same destination. Discounts are available on bulk. Ireland delivery/collection prices will differ. How to contact us: Home: 01244 819 837. Mob: 07592 053 666. E-Mail: Flyin.couriers@yahoo.co.uk

Flyin Couriers Posted October 19, 2008 Author Report Posted October 19, 2008 Hi sorry unfortunately we cannot be on 2 sites at the same time i wish we could be it would be alot easier. We are a family run business who want to do whats right for our customers. We will not have a fancier with every van but our fancier is going to teach all our drivers how to handle customers birds correctly and how to feed and water them while they are in transit. At the moment we only have 3 vans as we have just started. We will be doing the whole of the U.K. and will be going over to Ireland if we can get enough birds going or coming back from there. We do value all your views and welcome any questions and advice you may have for us all this will be taken onboard. Once again i apologise we did not log out for any reason at all we just cant have 2 sites up at the same time. Thanx for all your questions and comments. Regards Flyin Couriers.

DOVEScot Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 3 vans 3 days a week into and out of scotland plus the rest of the uk mainland plus ireland, no offence meant here fella but think you stretchin yerself a wee bit. best of luck to you. Flyin Couriers Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 We are based in North Wales mate just outside of the Chester area. Also we will be running a base from Scotland as we have family up there. Hopefully in the near future we are hoping to open a depot up there as we have been asked to do this by alot of pigeon fanciers in Scotland Regards Flyin Couriers.
jimmy_bulger Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 as i said before the best of luck to you,but be under no elusion couriers get slaughtered on here mate if they fail to live upto their promises.
just ask me Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 well lads have to say van drivers getting a little training on the care of birds its a very decent start prices are reasonable how many other couriers have we seen that can say the same thing can i ask what is your plan for Ireland like where will your drop off points be and price as we are a little negeled over here seems good lads please don't start knocking
Flyin Couriers Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 Thanx Jimmy we understand what you are saying and we also understand the problems you have had with other delivery company's this is why we are relying on fanciers like yourself to work with us for the best possible transportation for your pigeons. We will do our best for our customers to put this right and as we have said before please feel free to let us know if you are not happy or with any questions. Regards Flyin Couriers.
Flyin Couriers Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 We had a customer on Saturday morning from Belfast enquiring about Ireland collection and deliveries we are going to work with any customers in Ireland for the best possible days to travel over there as we could also deliver any birds the customer wants bringing over from the U.K at the same time as collecting birds to come back over to the U.K. If you need to know more about this mate please phone us to discuss this also we would like to hear any ideas you may have. Regards Flyin Couriers.
just ask me Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 i know u are new do u have any ideas yet understand if u dont
just ask me Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 grand but what about the south of ireland ie dublin down as i know a few lads that would be intrested
Flyin Couriers Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 Ill be honest with you mate we have thought about this and we would only be able to send a van over once every 2 weeks at the moment if we can get enough work over in Ireland to come back and vice versa. Obviously there is busy and not so busy times with the pigeon business so if we could get enough work going to Ireland and enough work coming back then we could think of having a van sent over once every week. Do you have any ideas yourself mate ? Regards Flyin Couriers.
Flyin Couriers Posted October 20, 2008 Author Report Posted October 20, 2008 Sorry mate the person we spoke to on Saturday was from Dublin not Belfast i wont mention his name as i have not had permission from himself to. As i am aware he is willng to offer us a contract as from January. Regards Flyin Couriers.
