Hi Strapper i have just got home myself after going out at 4am this morning once again. I do not know what has made you come onto a thread and slate us when we phoned you 2 hours before we could pick up as you asked. I dont know if you have seen the weather today but where i have been it has been very icy and snowy and i have nearly lost control of my vehicle atleast 4 times today. I was due home at around 8pm and it is now 23:45. Even though the roads are like this i still carried on putting myself at risk of having a accident and got what i needed to get done. I am unhappy as i have spoken to my driver and he says you were very rude to him over the phone. As far as i am aware this is the first time we have had a rude customer and this is why ??? It will have been the same for everybody delivering today i even seen a business post van stuck in the snow at the side of the road near Sheffield this evening. We do not give any customer a time as we cannot as we do not know what traffic is going to be like throughout the day and like today the weather. I would understand if we did not bother turning up and not telling you but we have done everything we were asked you say you waited in all day but you asked us to phone you a hour before so you would be in ??? The driver in question has been on the road since 4:30 and i have just come off the phone to him now and he is not going to be home till 3am as he is crawling on the motorway as the weather is that bad. I apologise to yourself that we would have been late collecting the bird from yourself and i think it is only fair that you apologise to my driver as he is only doing his job and his best to make fanciers happy as all courier drivers who are collecting / delivering pigeons are. I hope you understand and except our apology.

ecuse me but very rude to him on the phone?...he asked was i gonna have a pickup around 10pm at night...i told him no way as i had been waiting all day....where the rudeness came into this i dont know i never called him anything or ur company anything , or used ANY abusive words..i told him no way .nor did i put the phone down on him ....where is the rudeness in that?..so i will not appologize for something i havent done.

 

i did not ask you to phone me an hour at all ...i asked for you to give me a rough time when your be here to let me know in the day(even if it was gonna be late at night pickup.)..to let me know through the day!.and the wording i used was ...3-4hrs..not 1 hour as suggested.

as i have in an earlier post lastnight said my piece and did explain i did not feel you was a bad company.

Strapper i am only going on what i was told by my driver mate. How can we phone you 3-4 hours before we pick up when our drop before you may have been only 20 mins away. Seems you waited in all day why did you need 3-4 hours notice ? I have apologised in my last post to you i will speak to my driver again and if he has told me wrong i will then apologise to yourself again we are trying our best as our the other courriers to make fanciers happy. I think we should drop this now anyway i have apologised to you so has Debbie we cannot do anymore than that mate. Thanx.
