Guest Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 the saying is we hope you live for a long time and there is always someone at home keeping the fire and spirits up :) Thanks for the translation and I endorse those words 100%
DOVEScot Posted November 23, 2008 Author Report Posted November 23, 2008 In light of all the teething problems (we hope) that couriers are experiencing in the wake of Amtrak, maybe these threads highlighting all the good and bad stories will let them and us ALL know exactly how they are performing GOOD STORIES ONLY PLEASE NO ARGUMENTS PLEASE JUST THE FACTS ALTHOUGH I THINK COURIERS SHOULD COMMENT BUT ONLY ON THEIR OWN CASES [/quotepl please keep the topic as the auther started, as above quote. thanks. please If only it was that easy, maybe we need a seperated thread "Pigeon Courier Gripes" post your honest opion on what you think so far :-/ :-/ :-/ I think till the waves settle we will have some stormy times with couriers, I believe three have went under so far, the reasonable ones will stay afloat and the good one will sail ahead of the rest, one thing is there is enough businesses out there for more than one courier and the only ones that can really fill Amtrak's wake will be one national courier with networking capabilities, then that will inherit the same difficulties that Amtrak had 1. Networking............not as easy as it seems 2. Driver interest.......not all can remain enthusiastic as when the first start 3. Dealing with the public..........just sit amongst them and see the problems they cause 4. Excuses................It was not my fault it was somebody else's 5. Price.................. I want your money but don't expect us pay out if any thing goes wrong

tomm1e Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Just like to say that Flyincouriers picked up six pigeons from Chesterfield this morning (2.12.08) and delivered them in perfect condition to me here in Durham at 7pm. Both Debbie and Wayne were friendly, polite and professional. Thanks to Flyincouriers.
