Guest shadow Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Well thank you for admitting your not all you have made yourself out to be. As for Amtrak thats your opinion but I personally had a very good working relationship with my local depot, they really did go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done as they understood not only the game of delivering but also pigeons and fanciers alike. most amtrak drivers knew nothing at all about pigeons and were franchise drivers just earning a living and treat a pigeon as another parcel
Guest Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Seems strange to me Steve that you have joined the forum and jumped straight onto this thread....... 8) 8)

superstar Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 To be fair to Pigeon Tracker, there's no smoke without fire. Read my post. I jump on no ones bandwagon MY post, My Own View! I was led to believe by this guy he had a fleet of vans and drivers but a post or two revealed otherwise so I posted my question to which he confirmed there was no fleet of vans and drivers. Feel free to have your views as I will but tell me where anything I have ever said to the guy warrented a threat? Im all ears
Guest youngzimmy Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 THE BEST AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED I TRIED ON OR TWO OTHERS THERE PRICES WERE MAIR THAN IT COST FIR THE DOO FLYIN COURIERS ARE A GREAT SERVICE TAKE CARE WITH THE BIRDS AND GREAT CONSIDERATION FOR THE CUSTOMER WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR
ChrisMaidment08 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 hear what your saying about petty squabbles. Chrismaidment and a few others on here are notorious for bringing threads down just for the sake of being bored. I almost raised to the bait but took a step back as I saw where it was leading. I came on here as the owner of the UK's largest dedicated courier company so people could get to give me feedback, and vice verca, it seems some dont like that happening and will always go the extra yard to get in the way for whatever reason. As Richard the owner of the forum said to me, you'll always get the odd forum idiot who wants to play to a peanut throwing gallery who'll goad him on, this forum is no exception. Accept my apologies for almost raising to the bait, I should have been quicker to ignore rather than respond. Jamie my comment as sent to me is whats this mate as you have blocked my pm
ChrisMaidment08 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 steve brown 18 posts all on tracker every one???? bet you live birmingham
Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 this thread is already of topic so thought i would post aswell, i dont get involved usually but this time im gonna dovescot and crismaidment have been nothing but helpfull to me , the banter that goes on sometimes is nothing but a bit of fun and when the forum is a little quiet its nothing but refreshing i feel thats what gives this foum an edge on the others as help is always avaliable when needed but threads are not serious all the time thats my take any way
THE FIFER Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 In light of all the teething problems (we hope) that couriers are experiencing in the wake of Amtrak, maybe these threads highlighting all the good and bad stories will let them and us ALL know exactly how they are performing GOOD STORIES ONLY PLEASE NO ARGUMENTS PLEASE JUST THE FACTS ALTHOUGH I THINK COURIERS SHOULD COMMENT BUT ONLY ON THEIR OWN CASES [/quotepl please keep the topic as the auther started, as above quote. thanks.
ChrisMaidment08 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 right thank you fifer now i have spoken to debbi flying couiers and wanted info on her busness i found her to be open and prepared to forfil my needs ;D ;D ;D ;D no comments please i shall most certanly make it known tofanciers down hereto get her num as i intend giveing it at next fed club nat meeting well done debs
ChrisMaidment08 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 There's nothing suspect at all except for those who seem to have a problem with a courier who'll go out on a limb to get the bird from point A to B. Amtrak's owners wouldn't have done it that's for sure. Just for your info we don't employ all the drivers on a full time basis but as and when we need them and as this was the case here we didn't have anyone insured to drive the vans so sent someone who was insured to drive my car. couiers insurance covers all full uk licance holders or im paying for nothing
Guest cowboy Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 why take the p--s out of PigeonTracker it was not his fault one of his vans broke down, so he used is car whopie he got the job done and bird great >
Guest cowboy Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 couiers insurance covers all full uk licance holders or im paying for nothing not if you are under 21
retired Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Right onto my other good stories of the week. I have already mentioned today the excellent service i had from www.pigeoncourier.co.uk Also PT collected two lots of birds, one set to Plymouth and the other to Stoke on Trent - excellent service again. Last but not least FLYING COURIERS this evening delivered to from Scotland for me, the birds were held by them overnight and came in great condition and i have no doubt Debbie and Wayne are more than competent to look after my birds, they have also taken three lots of birds today to go to the North East and Scotland - Cant fault them, excellent communication and great service. As i have said before overall these are good times as we now have choice something we have not had for nearly 10 years such Interlink disappeared.
jimmy white Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 could you all please just go back to the first post on this thread and look at the heading regarding what the thread is about, I have to go at the moment but will be back to sort this thread out taking out agro postings, like reply 110, and as said read the heading by the author on first post?????????? please
ChrisMaidment08 Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 couiers insurance covers all full uk licance holders or im paying for nothing not if you are under 21 i will answer this then not comment further but do it v pm granted not if under 21 but then you are driveing on private insuerance so not covered for bussness use or coverage of live matter ie birds out of 25 vans a car is not best idea is it im glad he delivered safly and is delivering a reasonable service and as long as the rubbish stops fine but there are multitude of matters to clear up so if keven and jame want to do this fine and start again truethfully. great then carry on and deliver a service to us all along with other couiers doing good job
