I have used pigeon tracker and Cooper logistics.

Let down by pigeon tracker once but Coopers have always delivered when they should have.

Would you care to tell me where we let you down?  I don't recall any complaints coming through to either myself or my offices?

There's nothing worse than someone making these types of claims of 'being let down' without backing them up, at least then I can stand up for my company, I'm sure if you had a valid complaint we could have and would have dealt with it at the time and not by randomly posting on a forum an untrue or unsupported claim.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this a thread about good Couriers?

I agree with Jamie on this one, instead of posting about how Pigeon Tracker have let you down, why don't you take it up with them? Surely they would be able to resolve the issue? Something that wouldn't happen if you post comments as this on here... Helping couriers should be our main priority now, making sure the best succeed....

I stand by my word, Pigeon Tracker in my opinion is still the best and if there are any problems I would be sure to contact them personally instead of creating a long winded (no doubt) debate on who's the best!

Actually mighty flyer what the poster should have done is posted facts not just a random comments.

I've invited the poster to back up his claim because the way it stands now it looks as if he's posting just out of malice which is what this forum should never be allowed to do as it puts a bad name on fanciers not the couriers.  I can be certain that if we'd recieved a complaint from this person it would have been dealt with and recorded.  The fact we hadn't means one never existed and leaves you wondering of the motives behind his post.   :-/

There is a thread for bad stories

Any courier that is going to accept the praise on the site sure must be prepared to take the flack when and if they get it wrong :-/ :-/ :-/

Nobody is saying any different Duncan but this forum nor any other for that matter gives people free licence to make nonsense claims without foundation.   I've invited this poster to tell me why he thinks we let him down and look forward to hearing from him.

As you said, if and when we do make any errors we'd be happy to be held accountable but by our customers who in truth should deal with us as a company first port of call and then if they're still unhappy they can post about their discontent.

The problem is at the moment is people seem to be posting for the sake of posting and many prompted to promote their chosen courier which of course they are entitled to do but not by making false claims and discrediting my company without foundation.

I am in the process of clearing the claim by me stating I was let down once. It seems that pigeon tracker were not at fault and it was the fancier I ordered the birds off giving me a load of tripe. Once I clarify this I will of course write on this site and amend.

Foot in mouth seems about right (not Navigator)
There was confusion between the seller and courier nothing more.  We were told his order was cancelled yet they were still put on our van.  Alls well that ends well there as Steve gets his birds in the morning safe and well which is what its about.

I'll ignore the dummy spitting delboys of this world as some people would complain about the colour of the boxes that we use because they don't match the colour of their eyes.  The old saying you can't satisfy all the people all of the time is one I'll stick by and wish delboy luck with his new couriers whoever they'll be.

Cheers Jamie. As you say my pigeons will be with me tomorrow and that is the important thing.

Thank's for the long chat and clearing this up for me and I am still laughing at your humour. I will not devulge what it was about, but it made my day and I may use that in future.

At least I can admit you are a professional who looks after its customers.

In light of all the teething problems (we hope) that couriers are experiencing in the wake of Amtrak, maybe these threads highlighting all the good and bad stories will let them and us ALL know exactly how they are performing

GOOD STORIES ONLY PLEASE

NO ARGUMENTS PLEASE JUST THE FACTS

ALTHOUGH I THINK COURIERS SHOULD COMMENT BUT ONLY ON THEIR OWN CASES

this being the topic , being the first posting,, can we stick on topic,,

i personally cant speak enough of pigeontracker ,,he has went well out of his way to help me,, i can only speak for myself, but have now found many agreeing :)

chrisss where are you as i,ve got birds being dropped by them too. Just wondered when we recieve them.

i am in north herts, and the birds [and boxes] were brought down from lincs, the only thing i did not like, was that there were my birds, and another 8 birds,my nestboxes and a crib all in the same van, none of which appeared to be tied down, but the driver was good and the van was clean,so i would use them again, bearing in mind that none  of the other couriers would touch the boxes with a bargepole

Chris the van looked Half decent as myself and steve Stoker made it that way - There was three boxes taped together feel sorry for the poor bugger getting them birds.
