Guest Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 A good friend of mine has been delivering a few of my birds that i have sold around the uk,as i was thinking of this my self but just dont have the time i asked if he would be able to exspand, and courier others fanciers birds :-/ would you say that there would be a need for a good pigeon courier :-/
THE FIFER Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 there is still a need for couriers uk wide
pjc Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 would be better service if current couriers linked up more!
pigeonforce Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 would be better service if current couriers linked up more! It would be a better service if couriers linked up more but the way things are going at the moment they wont because of a few reasons. it has been tried and failed because of a few who want to rule the roost as such. It has been tried and failed there are some that work together but some that try to make things hard for others. If your willing to put in the hours and miles i wish you all the best of luck , but think before doing it its not easy as some people think, and this time of the year isnt too busy.

Guest Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 Had to send some birds up to scotland as my friend couldent do them, this worked out very expensive, does any one do a straight run up to scotland because i dont think once a month is good enough :-/
THE FIFER Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 would be better service if current couriers linked up more! I think this would be the only way it could be successful,
Guest Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 If he did start, i think he would have learnt by others mitakes. The cost comes to mind with me and a good service, he has said his starting price could be as little as 25 pounds up to 3 birds depending on there location
retired Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 I have any birds for Scotland normally collected each Thursday and delivered to Friday. SPDS take the birds over the border and deliver the Scottish end - This service costs me £35 per delivery so cant complain.

retired Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 but are you sending them via anyone else??? Well the £35 is split between both the couriers that do the job, if thats what you mean?
