Guest 67ghirl Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 Just had a phone call from JM Couriers. We were expecting Birds to be Picked up from the London Area and Warwickshire this morning and Delivered to us Tomorrow. They were phoning to say they will be here tonight between 10.30-11pm if that was alright with us!!!!! I'd say more than alright - it's fantastic ;D Might be an early rise for you Youngzimmy ;D

Guest strapper Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 had jm picked another bird up here this morning...found them to be ok. ...and for £25 tidy price! been here a few times!
Guest 67ghirl Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 We're probably one of their First Stops over the Border - depending on which route they take - at least they have phoned with plenty notice and asked if it is OK which I think is very Reasonable. Let's hope this Lady lives Further up country!

Guest 67ghirl Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 i was ment to get a bird today never arrived and havent herd from them and am 2 hours north of fife. They pick up on a Thursday and head North Delivering in Scotland on Friday before heading south again. We're just lucky they are getting here earlier than expected but we're only 28 miles from Carter Bar and about 50 miles if coming the A7! Suppose it just depends on their Route.
Guest 67ghirl Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 how far are you from fife? Sorry missed this earlier, we sit approx 30 miles South of Edinburgh.

thunderboult Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 i'm not sure how it works with this courier as the birds were payed for the other end. but i used uk pigeon courier's also this week and i payed for 1 bird this end and he took 2 other's which were being payed for when they reached the other guy. he seemed happy for the buisness and was'nt worried about having the money up front, also the young birds i had delivered were in good nick and in tidy boxes.
