On my way to St Johns Hospital in Livingstone last Thursday, because the weather was the best it has been for a while, I decided to take 6 latebreds from last year for a short toss. I released them at the golf coarse just before Kirkliston. The above numbered bird is still to date missing :-/  I would like to add that these 6 birds were well tossed on this side of the Forth last year.

i think it is still the wrong time of the year to be training late breds i wonder how many guys on this sight has trained latebreds this time of the year it might look alright but it is still cold, how many people even race them on the first race, some people might disagree, but if people tell the truth i bet there is a hell of alot go down, its better when the weather is warmer,i dont mind sending latebreds for the first races up to 150miles as long as its the right conditions.
