GREENGRASS Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 does anybody know where you report a youngster from the europa one loft race. do you report it to the one loft organiser or to the union from which the ring was issued. i have a welsh rung blue hen which arrived here yesterday with a green ets ring on and a europa security stamp on her wing, must say she is in poor condition no body weight.
PIGEON_MAN Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 HAD ONE FROM THERE LAST YEAR I REPORTED IT STRAIGHT TO DERICK NICHOLLS CANT REMEMBER WEATHER HIS PHONE NUMBER WAS ON THE BIRD OR I GOT IT OFF THEIR WEB SITE.HE WASN,T VERY INTERESTED IN IT JUST TOLD ME TO CHUCK IT OUT AS IT HAD BEEN TRAINED WELL LOADS OF TOSSES SO IT SHOULD GET BACK,DID THAT NEVER HEARD ANY MORE ABOUT IT.

GREENGRASS Posted September 15, 2006 Author Report Posted September 15, 2006 cheers gezza will call you later.
V1JSL Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 Did you get in touch with Derek, imagine if he had to send for the 800+ that wkere lost. I got a doo reported which was in last years race and timed in from the race. couple weeks later shu notified me that a fancier had reported my bird (very strange). when i contacted him he told me he bought it at the europa sale and was told by either Derek or one of his staff to report it that way he would get a transfer from me. I thought all along that the bird was registered with the Race loft.
gangster Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 pigeon was bred in holyhead and the breeders now know were it is 8) 8) 8) 8)
JAS Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 Greengrass if you report it to the Welsh union you will find the owner as the bird will not be transfered. We got one reported last year sent for it only to discover it was one from the Europa race. The hen is homed and bred a y\bird to win 3rd club 6th fed, Coldstream 2113 birds. So not all youngsters lost are duds maybe the owner would like it back.
GREENGRASS Posted September 19, 2006 Author Report Posted September 19, 2006 thanks john i have traced the owners and spoke to the man who bred the youngster which is from his Eagleson Busshaerts stock and they have offered me the chance to keep the youngster.
GREENGRASS Posted September 20, 2006 Author Report Posted September 20, 2006 yes i will let her moult out and see how she looks for next year.
