do you build your own nests or let the birds do it?

put nest felts in then shavings on top then put straw or other materials in loft for them to build the rest

never help,  i put some shavings in the bowl then put tobacco stalks in and around the loft,,  if they dont build, they just have shavings,  note,  pigeons pick up the material and knock it on the floor to see if it is hollow,  if it is it will be chucked away,   thats why i dont like straw,  to many hollow

yes the same as me mate do that and give them tobacco stalks to build the resy as they like building there nests and gives them sommit to do

same here i put nest felts in with some sawdust then throw alot of tobacco stalks on the floor and the birds do the rest keeps them moving and exercising
