OLDYELLOW Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 is your grit and minerals going down fast ?
Guest pigeon82 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 yes they gouge onit think thats right word ill put it tis way if i put grit and minerals in and food theygo for grit and minerals first then the food but they clear the pot all the time
OLDYELLOW Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 water will go down with feeding ybs , try some live natural yoghurt in there water or on corn or grated cuttle fish seems there lacking calcium at a guess what are you feeding ?
pigeonpete Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 They will get through loads of extra water during feeding ybs, The extra grit an minerals, they will consume more, if they look well, and feeding the ybs o.k, then nothing to worry about,
Guest pigeon82 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 im feeding a feed called breeding extra and before that i was feeding kweek extra subliem
OLDYELLOW Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 birds do get stressed whilst pairing up and canker can flair which would also result in high intake of water , but if look fine and dropping are fine no problem if have wet feeders better feeding regulary and remove water after each feed
OLDYELLOW Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 im feeding a feed called breeding extra and before that i was feeding kweek extra subliem is that the versa laga one ?
Guest pigeon82 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 breeding extra is in a clear bag but kweek extra subliem is versa laga
OLDYELLOW Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 it could be the change of corn most usualy phase out slowly
