You will see a nest begining to be built.Rag it if they come back and build again rag it again.They will go back to there nest box.In the racing loft it is a bad president to set allowing this to go on.Even in the stock loft you will find they build beside the door its bloody murder.

 

nice to have all the birds like soldiers but maybe these birds wanting to nest elsewhere shows a bit of character,one of my yearling cocks would not take a telling and after trying to move him my dad and me let him nest on the floor,last week in june he won 2nd federation open dorchester 370mls and 1 week later scored appledore 400mls,nearly 800mls in a week for this yearling cock,the following year the cock flew to a different loft and was less than average,at 3 yr old he was back in the old loft nesting on the floor first week in july 1st region nantes 614mls on the shift,so imo let the birds be happy. ;) ;) ;):)
