any one breed any youngsters and they have come come out colours you didnt expect , i have bred a slate out of a cheq and a blue and they have no slates in the pedigrees and i have no pigeons in the loft which carry any form of slate in there pedigree lol

yer ive got a gaypied paired to a cheq w/f and they have thrown out a pure white but the grand dam is a pure white

im still not 100 percent its a slate but looking at the colour of the fearthers coming throw it looks like it is and it has a very pink beak if you know what i mean lol

exactly the beak like a pinky/ivory beak my m8 reckons iys recessive genes both parents must have i'm not sure bout that  what strain are they r/r these are thru vilage lad which is basically jannsen :)the hen is jannsen

mine are de meyers and ive never seen a slate in the breed before so its got me really puzzled lol

have breed a cheqer out of 2 white grizzles no idea were it come from, nest mate is a white grizzle

 

quite often bred full reds or chequers out of grizzles so no supprize there i usualy find they race well as well ;)

i hope so mate this is the 1st time they breed anything other than a grizzle, they are the joker lines (coremans) and a mate has said that the checkers out of that line end up being the best racers( hope your both right)

paired 2 blues together got 1 blue and 1 chocolate

 

chocolate is a recesive gene and not dominant , thats very supprising unless both mulemans ;)

i hope so mate this is the 1st time they breed anything other than a grizzle, they are the joker lines (coremans) and a mate has said that the checkers out of that line end up being the best racers( hope your both right)

 

fingers crossed eh ;) my 38 chequer cock was out of two grizzles won loads of pools very consistant bird never won a race but he always won me the pools ;)

thats because hes got six in the nest at the moment mate which are his your birds should be hatching this week mate then il have to take more pics of yours . most of the photos i took today where of micks birds so he could see how there growing lol
