W.H.U. 2008 N 03257. FOUND !!

I keep doves and have recently taken in some visitors . I managed to catch one today and the details on the ring were W.H.U 2008 N 03257. Where can I find the owners address so I can return the bird safely. It seems in very good condition and  is pretty used to being handled. If anyone has lost the bird or can help it would be much appreciated.

I called Mr Bowen who took my number and said someone will ring me. That was an hour and a half ago. So it doesnt look promising. Well for the bird anyway

Be patient, sure they will contact you.

maybe the owner is away or out of the house...if they dont ring u within 2days then report the bird to whpu explaining that uve contacted the sec and was told that someone would ring u....make sure u put ur foot down if this happens.

Hi all

 

I still have had no response from the owner of the above bird. I have 3 lost pigeons mingling with my doves? I would guess they are from the same owner? Can anyone help. I dont want to destroy the pigeons but I dont want them breading either!!

Thank you for your help. Found the owner of the bird . They are about 40-50 miles away. I am taking it back to the owner this afternoon.
