martinwork Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Hi, My mother in law has found a pigeon - she has asked me what she should do about it. The pigeon seems happy and healthy (in fact its been terrorizing the cat). The rings have two combinations of letters and numbers and neither are immediately recognisable as coming from a club, they are B265 L30210GB90. Anybody have any ideas as to where she should turn to try and find the owner? Thanks, Martin
Guest bigda Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 i take it the number is GB90 L30210 AND HAS A RACE RUBER ON IT b265 could be wrong
pjc Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 can you confirm the sequence on the metal ring is GB90L30210. If it is it would make the bird 19 yrs old and probably an old ring used on a younger bird. The problem is the RPRA only keep records for 10 years.
grizzal Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 there should be a tel number stamped on its wing
