Hi all

This rather pretty racing pigeon landed in my garden at around 1600 on Sunday. I fed and watered him and left him be to see if he would go back on his way.  But he appears to have made himself at home with my 4 chickens and is roosting at night on the bedroom window sill.  ;D

If anyone knows who his rightful owner is please do get in touch.  He has 2 yellow racing bands as well as his pink ID ring.

I have taken some photos of him as well if it is needed to help with identification.

Thanks!

Many thanks for your prompt reply.  Shall make the phone call now.  He is a bit off course as I am in Swindon, Wiltshire!  Bless him.  He has been very entertaining to have these last couple of days - it has been a pleasure!!

Maybe I have discovered a new hobby............... ;D

Excellent news - I have just spoken to his owner.  He is a young bird that got caught in a storm on Friday - hence why he has ended up in Wiltshire!

Anyway the owner is coming to pick him up so that is certainly a happy ending!!
