welcome to pigeon basics Fletch , stray centres are set up to collect stray from that area and report / or help return to there owners

Do the Stray Centers have Couriers to deliver Pigeons?

 

I know that if i have a Pigeon in Edinburgh for example woul be very costly to pick up!

qany bird in areas given will be delivered at cost donation or you pick it up from there you need one in youer area to gain advantage from loft to loft service  so more lofts acceping strays the better

i have a spare loft i could use as a stray pigeon center i in North yorkshire i be glad to help but how do i go about getting started in this what do i have to do.

i was just talking to my courier and he was saying if you had a stray center and people used them they could pick up 6 birds from one place and deliver to 6 addresses and be able to lower the costs as there would only be one collection point so come on lads lets get this up and running and use them and get cheaper carrage .

All very good in theory but the stray centre will end up with a loft full of birds people don't want, also if 6 fanciers book collections you'll prob get 5 different couriers turn up for 1 bird each etc.
