Well my entry Bird No 1 didn't do too well, but he's still my favourite at 14 years of age.

 

He's a Desmett Matthys who was raced by a Guy over th Rocky Mountains from Steveens Pass Wa to Boseman Montana.  He was the first bird Steve ever bought for the princely sum of $20.  I have shown him here, ( when we have had a show to go to) and he won 2nd place in Flown Cocks 500 miles and over at 11 years of age, he's also won prizes for Breeding Cocks and Eyesign.

 

Studley is the Logo bird for our Web page and business documents and is a great favourite of Jack Barkel's

HE HAD 3X1st WHEN BROUGHT HIM BACK FROM MY GOOD FRIEND IN BELGIAN BUT IN THE STOCK LOFT OUTSTANDING HE IS THE DADDY AND HE IS 10 YEARS OLD

NUMBER 10 IS A 6yo KAREL STERCKX WHICH I PURCHASED AT BLACKPOOL, WELL DONE TO THE WINNERS AND ALL ENTRIES ALL GOOD LOOKING BIRDS,

NO.8 WAS 1ST  FED NORTHALLERTON AS A Y/BIRD BY 7 MINS ,THE NEXT YEAR HE WAS 1ST CLUB RIPON, NEXT DAY A CAT TRYED TO PULL HIM OUT OF THE SPUTNIK TRAP,HIS LEG WAS IN A BAD WAY AND NOW HE HAS A BAD LIMP.

no.2 i bought for £12 in the club breeder/buyer

it was first in the breeder/buyer winning £200 for me and £200 for stucky1

as a yearling 1st club  2nd west section 3000 birds

as a two year old 1st club  5th west section 2500 birds (only bird i sent)

also winning pool money nearly every week

this bird has never raced more than 150 miles

iam going to send him to snfc inland national this season
